26. mai 2021. From My Home to Yours #22 Den 22. Utgaven av "From My Home To Yours", har fått navnet "Radio Radio".
Bruce åpnet sendingen med å fortelle hvor mye radioen har betydd for hans musikalske valg. "Kraften og betydningen av radioen kan ikke overvurderes. Jeg bodde med den, gjemte den i skolesekken på dagtid, og gjemte den under puten min hele natten".
"Waiting on a Friend", var den 22. utgaven
Episoden var en av de korteste, men det er likevel hyggelig å få disse sendingene jevnlig. Den forrige gikk på luften den 29. april, mens den aller første sendingen hadde premiere den 8. april i fjor.
Med tittelen «Radio Radio», kom det ikke som noen overraskelse at titlene på låtene, som ble spilt under sendingen, hadde noe med radio å gjøre.
Bruce Springsteen spilte de to egne låtene «Radio Nowhere» og «Save My Love». Sistnevnte har ikke «radio» i tittelen, men den har en vesentlig rolle i sangteksten: «So turn up your radio and I'll save my love for you».

Hello, hello, prisoners of rock ‘n’ roll, friends, family, brothers and sisters and listeners from coast to coast and around the world. Welcome to Vol. 22 of "From My Home to Yours," titled "Radio Radio." Previous to cable, previous to satellite, previous to the prominency of popular music in the New York area, you had your choice of two, two AM radio stations. And for teenagers, one listening device: the Japanese-built transistor radio. It was approximately the size of your iPhone. The transistor was your only connection to the rocking, swinging sounds and culture that was teenagedom in the greater world, in the ’50s and ’60s. WMCA and WABC were our two stations. I hopped between the two, coming to favor ABC with Cousin Bruce Morrow spinning the gold. The power and importance of my radio could not be overstated. I lived with it, tucked it in my schoolbag during the day, and tucked it beneath my pillow all hours of the night. This, this, this music, this was something worth living for. This was speaking to me. There were people who knew and respected who I was and who I wanted to be. There, I could find the answer to the only question my dead little town could not afford to ask: Is there anybody alive out there!
That, of course, was Elvis Costello, with one of his greatest rock ‘n’ roll hits: "Radio Radio." And before that, "Radio Nowhere" by yours truly.
That was The Nines with "It’s on the Radio." The Nines were a Canadian power-pop group out of Oakville, Ont. And before that, The Ravyns, R-A-V-Y-N-S, with the lovely "Raised on the Radio." Now The Ravyns were out of Baltimore, and were best known for this record, cut in 1982 and featured on the "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" soundtrack — a film that also featured my fabulous little sister Pam. This is the Mighty Mike Schermer Band, with the wonderful "My Big Sister’s Radio."
That was "You Turn Me On, I’m a Radio," by one of the 20th century’s greatest songwriters, the inimitable Joni Mitchell, and before that, the Mighty Mike Schermer Band, with "My Big Sister’s Radio." Mighty Mike Schermer was a fixture on the Bay Area club scene for 20 years before moving to Austin, Texas in 2009. He has played along musicians such as Elvin Bishop, Maria Muldaur, Bonnie Raitt — I love her — Howard Tate, Charlie Musselwhite and many more. That’s a heavy set of bona fides, along with making some acclaimed records of his own. This is the one and only Van "The Man" Morrison.
That was "Border Radio" by The Blasters, one of my all-time favorite bands that I had the pleasure of sitting in for a whole set, at the Hard Rock in Los Angeles, one California night. The Brothers Alvin: Phil and Dave. A killer duo. Masters of Americana, blues, soul, punk, R&B. A beautiful group. And before that, with "Hey Mr. DJ," the maestro, Van Morrison. And now, my good friends, Warren Zevon, with "Mohammed’s Radio."

14. mai 2021. Woody Guthrie Prize 2021 (13/5-21)
Bruce Springsteen var årets mottaker av "Woody Guthrie Prize" og overekkelsen ble streamet i går. Selve opptaket for mottakelsen ble gjort allerede den 21. april, hjemme på gården til Bruce Springsteen i Colts Neck.

"Woody Guthrie Prize", som i år gikk til Bruce Springsteen, er en anerkjennelse av hans arbeid med å videreføre Guthries arv.
Prisen tildeles hvert år til en kunstner som best eksemplifiserer Woody Guthries ånd og arbeid ved å snakke for de mindre heldige gjennom musikk, film, litteratur, dans eller andre kunstformer.
Tidligere mottakere av prisen er Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Chuck D, Kris Kristofferson, Mavis Staples, John Mellencamp og Norman Lear.
Nora Guthrie, Woody’s datter, delte ut prisen på vegne av Woody Guthrie stiftelsen.
"Jeg er beæret over å motta Woody Guthrie-prisen 2021", sa Springsteen i sin takketale før han ble intervjuet av Nora Guthrie og Robert Santelli.
"Tom Joad", 13. mai 2021
Senere fremførte han fire akustiske låter. Disse var de to Woody Guthrie låtene "Tom Joad" og "Plane Wreck At Los Gatos (Deportee), samt sine to egne låter "Across The Border" og "The Ghost Of Tom Joad".
Det mest spennende med intervjuet, var Bruce’s hint om et nytt kommende album med tema fra Vesten - og da pratet han ikke om "Western Stars". "California was an enormous influence on some of my most topical writing, through my ’90s, through 2000s, and even now, on a record coming out soon that’s set largely in the West. I got very involved in telling those Western stories through my work."

Månedens utgivelse er hentet fra "The 1992-93 World Tour" og er den tredje fra denne turneen. Dagens utgivelse er hentet fra Boston Garden, den 13. desember i 1992. De to tidligere utgivelsene er begge hentet fra New Jersey og er konsertene fra Meadowlands Arena, East Rutherford den 25. juli 1992 og Brendan Byrne Arena den 24. juni 1993.

På denne turneen, som kom i kjølvannet av dobbelutgivelsene av "Lucky Town" og "Human Touch", var "The E Street Band" byttet ut med "The Other Band", som bestod av en blanding av musikere som Bruce hadde plukket ut til turneen.

Etter å turnert i Europa, sommeren 1992, returnerte Bruce Springsteen til USA, for turneens andre runde hvor dagens utgivelse er hentet fra.
Springsteen besøkte Valle Hovin i Oslo under den tredje runden av denne turneen. Datoen var den 1. juni 1993, som også var avslutningskonserten på turneen.
Springsteen tok turen innom Norge under turneen
Konsertopptaket inneholder 28 låter og hele 16 av disse er hentet fra de to albumene "Human Touch" og "Lucky Town", som turneen er bygget rundt.
Patti Scialfa er med og synger på de to låtene "Human Touch" og "Brilliant Disguise", mens Jon Landau kom opp på scenen og var med og spilte gitar på "Glory Days" og "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town".
